Will Bryan is a writer, director, entrepreneur, animator, and game designer from Northern Virginia.  He is Chief Creative Officer of mobile development company Sky Farm Interactive, and Co-Founder of Richmond-based video production agency One-Room Schoolhouse.

His career in video production began in 2008 with River of Skeletons, a half-hour documentary about Project Amazonas he directed, shot, and edited in the jungles of the Peruvian Amazon.  Managed by Smooth Dirty Productions from 2009 to 2011, Will’s music videos for Nickelus F, Suburban District, and Chanelle Ray were featured by MTV, VH1, and Vimeo Staff Picks, and his award-winning short films Optimist Pessimist Solipsist, and Historical Film premiered at The Ann Arbor Film Festival, The Virginia Film Festival, and James River Shorts, where Optimist Pessimist Solipsist and Historical Film were awarded Best in Show (2014) and the Virginia Filmmaking Award (2016).  While serving as Senior Video Producer at VibrAlign and its parent company ACOEM, Will’s product commercials won three Telly Awards in 2014 and 2015.

In 2016 Will left VibrAlign to work with his partner, Katharine Stein.  Together they founded One-Room Schoolhouse, a Richmond-based video production agency with a split-focus on recruitment films for higher education and technical B2B advertising for industrial firms.  Their clients include Reliability, Inc., VCUarts, and The New York Studio School.

In 2018 Will co-founded a new company with Dave Martell.  Sky Farm Interactive is a mobile app development firm focused on creating the next generation of family-friendly content.  Their first project, an iOS sticker pack, was listed in the top ten most downloaded on the App Store.  Their second and third projects are interactive storybooks featuring original characters, Duncan’s Flying Tugboat, which will be released in late 2018, and Leo’s Lighthouse, for which Will and Dave were awarded a $10,000 development grant by the Virginia Serious Games Institute in April of 2018.

Based on his 2016 short, Will is currently in pre-production for his first feature-length film, Historical Film, co-written and produced by Katharine Stein.  Produced under One-Room Schoolhouse, Historical Film will begin principle photography in April of 2019.
